DIVIDED ARCHES 1999

Steel, HID light, light standards

​

32' high above train tracks.  The arches (extensions of the light standards) create a leafy bower spanning over the train tracks at the East-West platform entrances.  The arch shape describes the outer perimeter of the 20' diameter 'no fly zone' of the hot wires powering the light rail.
