Cluster of 30 butterflies.  Heights vary from 4' to 8' installed in a cast-in-place concrete seating area.

​

VCP is a seasonal habitat of the Monarch Butterfly on its flight from Mexico.  Clusters of butterflies with flashing LED lights at their tips (like fireflies) gently sway in the wind.  This movement activates the hinged wings of each butterfly to mimic flutter.  The Butterfly Cluster seating area forms the center point of the Oasis Plaza.
